Main-deck fit, floor loading and flight connections were all confirmed before the electrical unit could fly.
Sparber Group arranged the air transport of a 10,740 kg electrical unit to Australia as one single piece. Measuring 450 by 235 by 255 cm, the shipment required far more than a search for available space.
Before confirming the movement, the team had to establish that the unit would fit the main-deck contour, remain within floor-loading limits and connect through a combination of flights able to accept it. Failure at any one of those points would have stopped the shipment, regardless of urgency.
The project shows why oversized air cargo depends on technical assessment before booking. Sparber’s willingness to study the load, rather than dismiss it as cargo that could not fly, turned a difficult requirement into a viable airfreight plan for the customer.
