Neutral Air Partner welcomes FreightSpark, an independent air cargo software company headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to the NAP ecosystem as a specialist technology partner.
Founded in September 2024 by Frank Smit, FreightSpark develops technology specifically for air cargo operators, including airlines, neutral wholesalers, consolidators, GSSAs and air-cargo brokers. Its core product, FreightSpark ONE, is an AI-native Cargo Management System designed to bring commercial, operational and financial workflows into one connected workspace.
FreightSpark ONE supports the workflow from the initial customer RFQ through quoting, shipment operations, flight and capacity management, and invoicing. Information already captured within the system is carried forward into subsequent tasks, helping teams reduce repetitive data entry and manual information transfer across the cargo process.
AI assistance is embedded within these workflows.
FreightSpark ONE can read incoming RFQs to help prepare quotes, extract information from Master Air Waybills and supplier invoices, and allow users to review extracted data and charges against the relevant shipment. The platform is designed to support cargo teams while keeping people in control of commercial and operational decisions.
FreightSpark’s focus is on helping air cargo teams spend less time on routine administrative work and more time on customer service, operational control and commercial decision-making. By connecting information across sales, operations and finance, the platform aims to simplify daily cargo management and provide greater continuity from the first customer request through to invoicing.
For Neutral Air Partner, FreightSpark adds another specialist solution to the network’s growing technology ecosystem. NAP works with technology providers offering different approaches to digitalisation, automation and cargo management, giving members the opportunity to evaluate solutions according to their own business models, operational requirements and digital strategies.
FreightSpark brings a particular focus on AI-assisted workflows and connected cargo management for airlines, neutral wholesalers, consolidators, GSSAs and air-cargo brokers, adding another technology option for NAP members looking to improve workflow efficiency, automation and operational visibility.
