Freightos Air Index export rates for Japan show prices to North America declined 3% to $3.31/kg in October and are 46% lower than a year ago as rates have cooled across the industry. Prices to Northern Europe increased 11% in October to $3.33/kg but are 40% lower than October 2022 levels.
