UAC is a neutral airfreight wholesaler in Sydney, about 10 minutes from Kingsford Smith Airport (Mascot), operating 7 days per week with a 1,250 m² facility, around 20 staff, and throughput of roughly 200 tonnes per week (import and export). One of the few neutral air wholesalers in Australia, UAC handles ambient cargo, DG, and specialized shipments (including aircraft engines and delicate cargo), and provides end-to-end exports, imports, consolidations, screening, ULD build, bonded warehousing, Australia-wide distribution, plus e-commerce handling (parcel scanning, pallet builds, consolidations, and final-mile handover). Key lanes supported include Australia links with Auckland/New Zealand, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the USA.
Sydney handles around 50% of Australia’s total airfreight, positioning UAC to service national requirements efficiently. UAC also provides reliable overnight trucking to and from Melbourne and Brisbane, and together these three gateways account for about 95% of Australia’s total airfreight volume, supporting Australia-wide programs from a single operating base.
For exports, UAC is IATA-licensed and RACA-approved by the Department of Home Affairs to perform export screening using X-ray and ETD, then build and deliver freight for uplift. The team builds about 50 ULDs per week, managing the export flow from cargo receipt and screening to ULD build, airline bookings, and delivery to carrier CTOs, including weekly consolidations to Auckland and developing consolidations into Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the USA. For imports, UAC operates an ABF customs-bonded and AQIS-approved facility, collecting from CTOs, managing customs and quarantine compliance, breaking down and rebuilding ULDs and pallets to optimize capacity, and handing over to forwarders’ transport providers. UAC also supports import consolidations from Europe, the USA, and Asia, offering EXW/FCA origin to Sydney depot with optional door delivery.
