The World’s First Global On Board Courier Network.

Wings onboard provides premium on board courier (OBC) services worldwide. The company, founded in 2012 and with offices in Miami and Tel Aviv, has its headquarters conveniently based near Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. Managing Director Sander van Woesik is an experienced air cargo professional with an extensive network worldwide.

Mr. van Woesik, what is Wings’ core business?

Our core business is delivering high priority consignments in the fastest and safest way. We work with 1900 OBCs in 125 countries. OBC requests are answered within 15-30 minutes. Within 45 minutes after confirmation, one of our OBCs is on the way for pick up. Our OBCs are equipped with the Wings app on their smartphones, allowing them to communicate with the Wings Control Tower, which is 24/7/365 in operation. Each consignment gets allocated a unique tracking number, which serves as the customers’ login for the personal Wings Track and Trace web page (location of the courier and status of the consignment). In order to provide full transparency, our couriers take pictures of the content and the documents of the consignment, which are uploaded to the personal Track and Trace web page.

Mr. van Woesik, can you tell us something about your customers and their businesses? Do you operate in certain markets?

Wings onboard work for customers in many industries. They all have in common that they have high priority consignments. For example, we have customers in the automotive, aviation, medicals and fashion industry. They choose us for our unbeatable time frame, our flexible carrier choice and our highly experienced, multilingual OBCs. These features, combined with worldwide customs clearance facilities, make Wings unique in its kind.

What are your goals over the next 3 years?

Our aim is to become the most reliable OBC provider in the world. Our marketing plan focuses on both short-term and long-term activities in order to reach our goals.
Within 3 years, we aim to open sales- and customer service offices in Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
