Carrier and ground handler now sit closer together at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
Airline partner Saudia Cargo has opened a warehouse within the SAL Saudi Logistics Services facility at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The opening brings the carrier’s cargo activity and SAL’s ground-handling capability closer together at one of Saudi Arabia’s main international gateways. Saudia Cargo said the development strengthens operational readiness and supports further growth and logistics efficiency.
For freight forwarders, coordination between airline and handler can affect acceptance, transfer visibility and the speed at which operational issues are resolved. The Jeddah development gives network members another practical update to consider when planning cargo through Saudi Arabia and discussing gateway options with customers and airline partners.
