Respondents also foresee moderate growth in 2027, but no e-commerce recovery within six months.
Initial results from NAP strategic partner Rotate’s Sentiment Index show that 74% of respondents expected air cargo volumes to increase during the following four weeks.
Respondents generally expected steady, moderate market growth in 2027. Views on e-commerce were more cautious: most anticipated a recovery, but not within the next six months. Rotate also noted that expectations differed between regions and between respondents working at headquarters and in the field.
The index is a measure of industry sentiment, not recorded cargo demand, and should be read alongside current volume, rate and capacity data. Used that way, it gives network members another signal to compare with what they are seeing in their own markets and customer pipelines.
