Next year, all airfreight routes will lead to Abu Dhabi, when the Iata World Cargo Symposium takes place there in March. For now the emirate hosted an event called Openap, where the network Neutral Air Partner (NAP) celebrated one year in business. Christos Spyrou, NAP’s CEO and founder, told the ITJ in Paris that “the four-day meeting was a great success for us.” More than 100 delegates met up with experts from the air cargo supply chain, who delivered six talks on core industry issues. More than 1,000 face to face meetings took place at the event, which included networking at exclusive social occasions, such as a drive on the Formula 1 Yas Marina circuit, where participants actively extended their personal contacts. 2nd OPENAP global meeting of Neutral Air Partner will take place at the St Regis in Kuala Lumpur from the 18th to the 21th of September 2017.
