NAP’s new Latam BDM Rafael Navarette , visited Mexico and Central America including Guatemala , Honduras , Costa Rica , Panama aiming to meet with airfreight professionals in order to empower our group’s presence in the region . Rafael started the trip from his hometown Mexico city where he visited our members , and he continued his trip southbound conducting over 20 meetings with potential new partners .
“Most of the countries from the CAM region base their economy on imports with majority ex the US . In the past few years they have a deficit in trade balance and the region experiences many political changes affecting the trade development. Costa Rica and Guatemala are very interested in developing new air cargo products and invest in air cargo since there is a great demand. Honduras will open a new airport by 2020 and they expect to increase air cargo volumes and commercial activities , while until now there is no trade agreement with China .Panama will have a better position due to the recent trade agreements with China . Central America is a market with a significant growth potential and we encourage our members to explore this upcoming trade lane “ says Rafael .

The next coming weeks NAP will announce new members in Central America and we are very excited to grow on this part of the world with professional partners . For more info email [email protected]
