NAP AGM 7-11 JUNE BALI IS OFFICIALLY POSTPONED

Following the increasing and overwhelming spreading of the COVID-19 virus and considering first and foremost the health and safety of everyone, but also the global economic impact on our industry, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 5th NAP AGM 2020 which was scheduled for June 7-11 in Bali Indonesia, and to reschedule for late May – early June in 2021 at the same venue and location.

After officially declaring COVID-19 as a pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) has also underlined the importance of traveler’s awareness in preventing the transmission of the virus. WHO, IATA, ICAO , and many aviation industry organizations have developed extensive guidelines, toolkits, and response plans to support governments, passengers and the aviation industry in mitigating risks. Intense international cooperation and coordination, between all parties, public and private sectors, is on-going and should be strengthened as needed going forward.

We feel that was the only way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our members, but we know it’s the right and smart decision based on the information we have today concerning the health and safety of everyone, as well as the potential economic impact to participants, attendees, staff, and the larger community.

Hoping the current situation improves during the next months, and by taking into consideration the warm summer in the northern hemisphere and the positive news in research for the virus cure , we are planning to host our 2020 AGM in Miami beach in November 8-12, in conjunction with the Air Cargo Forum & Transport Logistics Americas expo. www.aircargoforum.org . More details to follow in due course.

We thank everyone who registered for the Bali event this year, and we look forward to bringing you OPENAP 2021 in Bali next year, and to see you in November in Miami to an inaugural event that brings air cargo logistics professionals, service providers, media, and the air cargo community together in an conference that celebrates our industry .
