Transparency is the new gold standard in airfreight. LOT Cargo is doubling down on this reality by combining a strategic technology partnership with a major infrastructure upgrade at its primary hub.
The Partnership: Real-Time Intelligence with Tive
LOT Cargo has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Tive, a global leader in real-time supply chain visibility. Starting in 2026, this collaboration will allow LOT Cargo to provide shippers and forwarders with hyper-accurate, real-time data on shipment location and condition (including temperature, light exposure, and shock). By integrating Tive’s advanced multi-sensor trackers, LOT Cargo is moving beyond traditional milestones to offer 24/7 “live” monitoring for the most sensitive cargo categories, such as pharmaceuticals and high-value electronics.
The Infrastructure: Warsaw Hub Transformation
This digital leap is supported by a physical transformation at the Warsaw (WAW) hub. LOT Cargo is implementing a comprehensive real-time shipment tracking system across its hub operations to eliminate “dark spots” in the ground handling process.
- Seamless Transitions: The new system ensures that the moment cargo enters the Warsaw facility, its status is updated in real-time, providing immediate transparency during the critical transfer window.
- Data-Driven Efficiency: By digitizing the hub floor, LOT Cargo is reducing manual check-points and significantly shortening the time required for transit shipments to move between flights.
The Impact on the NAP Ecosystem
For NAP members, these developments reinforce LOT Cargo’s position as a premium gateway into Central and Eastern Europe. The combination of Tive’s “on-the-move” visibility and the Warsaw hub’s “at-rest” tracking ensures that every shipment is accounted for at every second of its journey. As specialization becomes the key differentiator for our members, having a partner that provides this level of granular data is a vital competitive advantage.
