Over the past decade, AWA has grown substantially to become one of the key neutral wholesalers connecting the U.S. to the rest of the world. As the company looks ahead to 2026, AWA views this year as a pivotal milestone – one in which it will take decisive steps toward expanding its U.S. footprint, increasing market share, and extending the blue-collar, service-driven approach that has been central to its success.
This strategic acquisition enables AWA to expand into critical gateway markets such as Dallas (DFW) and to further strengthen its operational presence in Chicago (ORD) and Los Angeles (LAX).
By integrating UAC USA’s infrastructure and customer base into AWA’s established systems and operational network, the combined business will create an expanded one-stop forwarding solution covering air, ocean and project services. Customers will benefit from expanded capacity, increased frequency of departures, enhanced rate control, consistent billing under AWA, and greater visibility through a unified operational environment.

All freight tendered or handled from December 1, 2025 will move under AWA documentation and billing, with existing UAC staff integrated into AWA’s structure to preserve operational knowledge, customer relationships, and continuity of service.
